- QC Co-Lab Common Areas, Facilities & Equipment (QCCLCAFE):
- QC Co-Lab Common Areas, Facilities & Equipment are those areas, facilities, and equipment which are NOT specifically designated as privately rented office spaces.
- QC Co-Lab Common Areas, Facilities & Equipment (QCCLCAFE) Reservation:
- A QCCLCAFE Reservation is a reservation for the exclusive use of a QCCLCAFE for a specific time period. Some QCCLCAFE may be reserved directly by Members using the specific calendars on the QC Co-Lab website. Any QCCLCAFE that does not have a specific calendar on the QC Co-Lab website may require QC Co-Lab Board of Directors approval to confirm the reservation, depending on the specific QCCLCAFE being reserved. Furthermore, there may be additional charges depending on the specific QCCLCAFE being reserved, the time period it is being reserved for, and the purpose that it is being used for.
- Member:
- Guest:
- A Guest is any person who is NOT Member, and who is accompanying and/or working with a Member in or on QCCLCAFE , and who is NOT paying the Member for any instruction or services.
- Example: Harry is a Member, Ron is not. They want to work together to make a garden bench as a gift for Mr. & Mrs. Weasley’s wedding anniversary. They would like to use the woodshop for construction and assembly. Harry and Ron are equally experienced woodworkers, and Ron is not paying for instruction. Ron is Harry’s GUEST.
- Paying Student, Non-Member (PSN-M):
- A “Paying Student, Non-Member”, is any person who is NOT a member, who is accompanying a Member in or on QCCLCAFE, and who IS paying the Member for instruction and utilizing QCCLCAFE for that instruction.
- Example: Seamus is a Member, Dean is not. Seamus is an experienced and trained welder. Dean wants to learn how to weld so he can make some custom combined football/Quiddich goals. Dean pays Seamus for welding lessons, and they use the auto shop for the lessons. Dean is a PAYING STUDENT, NON-MEMBER.
- Paying Student, Member (PSM):
- A “Paying Student, Member”, is any person who IS a Member, and who is paying another Member for instruction and utilizing QCCLCAFE for that instruction.
- Example: Luna and Neville are both Members. Neville is very skilled at sewing mismatched socks. Luna wants to learn his techniques. Luna pays Neville to teach her using the sewing machines in the multi-purpose room. Luna is a PAYING STUDENT, MEMBER.
- Required Training:
- Required Training is instruction required for a person to use or operate designated QCCLCAFE. Those items or areas are clearly designated on both on the item or area and are listed on the QC Co-Lab website as “Required Training” areas or equipment. Required Training will be provided to any Member who requests it, at no additional charge (beyond their membership fees).
- Example: Hermonie and Ginny are both Members. Hermonie is trained in the laser room, and Ginny wants to learn how to use the laser room. Hermonie provides the REQUIRED TRAINING to Ginny at no charge.
