So you want to be a member!

A membership to the QC Co-Lab is open to anyone that wants to make, hack, or create. If you’re interested in obtaining detailed information about being a member, feel free to contact [email protected].

If you decide that you do wish to join, you can do so during any visit or anytime you’re a guest with another member. Many things we do at the Co-Lab make use of a Google account for authentication purposes. You can create one for free here and even use your existing email account. No new email is required!

Meetings are at the QC Co-Lab facility at 627 West 2nd Street in Davenport, Iowa, next to the Centennial Bridge. Please use the 2nd St. door for entrance.

Alright. Now what’s it cost me?

Standard memberships include up to 4 family members, over the age of 18, that are currently living in the same household that is listed with the QC Co-Lab. A QC Co-Lab membership is $35 per month and is payable directly through our website.  Your credit card information is not stored on our site, and payments are processed through Stripe. You can also save 10% ($378) by paying for a year in advance.

I’m a student, and can’t afford that amount per month.  Do you have a discounted rate for students?

If you’re an actively enrolled student in continuing education, you’re welcome to join us and become a member of the lab. We are always trying to break down monetary barriers by offering a single hardship discount. These discounts will be offered for 3-month timeframes, with the option to re-apply every 3 months.  In order to qualify for this rate, you’ll need to contact the Treasurer at [email protected] to verify eligibility and receive a coupon code that you can use to set up your dues subscription.

I’m not a student, but I can’t afford that amount per month.  Do you have other discounted rates?

We never want to see a maker dissuaded from their passions so our single hardship discount allows anyone to apply. How do I sign up?

You can sign up for a membership in person during a tour or scheduled meeting. Do to the various machinery around the lab and our volunteer nature we would like to meet with you prior to signing up. You can contact us to schedule a time at [email protected].
