Fingerprint Scanner for Garage Door

Posted on July 14, 2015 by Bill Peterson

A while back I came across the fingerprint scanners on SparkFun, which had a link to a cool Instructables project. It incorporated AVR coding/flashing, soldering, and drilling holes in my garage, so it seemed like a fun thing to do. I wanted a version with more buttons and a cool lasercut panel, so I did my own build (which got featured on Instructables!). I won’t duplicate effort, but below are some pics from the project. Maybe something for the new space?
