The QC Co-Lab is proud to announce our Grand Opening Weekend and Open House from Friday, September 17th thru Sunday September 19th at our new facility, located at 1033 E 53rd St. in Davenport, IA, next to Hamilton Technical College. (Full Press Release)

We would like to invite you out to see the new space and experience some of what makes the QC Co-Lab unique. We have a full schedule lined up, including tours of the new space, a variety of great talks, games, prizes, and more. Throughout the days, our members will be displaying some of our favorite projects, such as high voltage Tesla coils, blacksmithing, and a makerbot 3d printer. Come be a part of the future of the Quad Cities’ arts and technology community.

Meeting of the Spaces: Midwest Hackerspace Meetup & Cookout

Saturday night after the main festivities, Lakeside RV Park is hosting a Meeting of the Spaces, open to all Midwest (and further) Hackerspace members (and their guests). There will be a bonfire, cookout, and otherwise great time to be had. Food, and some beverages will be provided. If you are local and would like to bring a dish to pass please feel free to bring something. If you would like any specific food or beer please bring all you can. The bonfire will be held near the free camping area. Don’t forget to bring your hackerspace stickers/buttons/swag to give out / trade.
